Today marks the end of another year and I would be lying if I said I wasn't glad to be saying goodbye to 2017. It has brought heartache, change and personal struggles but you know what? I've made it out the other side, I'm happier and stronger than I ever have been and 2017 also brought some pretty amazing times too which I'm going to round up in this post! Most of these are from the second half of the year because if I'm totally honest...the first half of the year isn't worth any mention.
I somehow graduated university with a 2:2, another experience I couldn't be happier to finally be finished with. I'd love to say I'm no longer in education but I also started training to be a make-up artist towards the end of this year and I work in a primary school so....I'm never done with education!
I met and fell in love with my best friend and he has made me the person I am today. We have already shared so many amazing memories together and I can't wait to keep creating more and see in the new year with him.
I spent some quality time with my big sis, this particular occasion we were the oldest people in the queue for sugg life x PB merch!
We had a mini night away in Greenwich for Dan's cousins 30th, which ended with me in a very very rough state...never drinking prosecco again.
I met my bestest friend and she always knows how to cheer me up and she's just the greatest person on the planet, okay?
Instead of a birthday cake, I had a birthday pavlova...and that's pretty frickin' special.
We had our first real Christmas tree and yes I forgot to water him and yes he's looking very sad now...whooops!
Spending Christmas eve with all my family!
Seeing my best friend from uni get married and having a lovely few days away with Dan in the New Forest. Including dreamy beach walks, exploring tiny villages and a stay in a hotel room.
Right up to today, where we went for a dog walk and the camera on my new iPhone is insane and has made me fall in love with taking photos again.
I also started this blog and started taking blogging and social media a little more seriously and I am loving it more than ever.
So New Year, New Me right? WRONG. I am very excited to be entering the New year as the same old me and just trying to be the best version of that that I can be. I hope you all have a lovely evening and.....happy new year!
What a fab way to look back at the good times! I hope you have a wonderful new year and it brings a lot of happiness xx
