My favourite Christmas films

I definitely wrote this post last year but I have changed blogs since then and got a lot of new readers so I thought I would do a little bit of an updated version. Let me know your favourite Christmas film in the comments below, and leave your blog link in you have one.

1. Nativity! Me and Dan watched this the other night and I forgot how amazing all the music is. It's always stuck in my head and because I now work in a primary school I can just relate so much to the stress of Christmas shows and Christmas term in general. Such a feel good watch and the kids are so cute.

2. Elf. Just a Christmas classic. Anyone who says they don't like Elf is actually mental. There are so many one liners that are referred to at this time of year and it is just a festive favourite.

3. The Muppets Christmas Carol. The tradition in our family was that we watched this every Christmas Eve and now that we're older we all tend to be at the pub on Christmas Eve but I still always fall asleep watching this film. It is amazing, funny, light hearted, has the typical great message and the songs are fab. It's the best version of Christmas Carol ever.

4.The Nightmare Before Christmas. This film I watch pretty much from November onwards because it's technically a Halloween and Christmas film so it's the perfect November film inbetween the two holidays (Am I right or am I right?) Again, I find myself singing the songs from this film all the time and it drives my mum crazy.

5. How the Grinch Stole Christmas- I'm going to put it out there. I think The Grinch might be my favourite Christmas film of all time. It just oozes Christmas and Christmas spirit and I could watch it over and over again without getting bored. Also, Jim Carey is just hilarious and I laugh every time I watch this film.
