First off I want to get one thing clear, I am not a make-up artist nor am I particularly good at explaining things. I also forgot to take a lot of photos during the process of creating this look...whoops, sorry! So think of this as less of a tutorial and more of a "here-are-some-pictures-to-inspire-your-halloween-looks" type of a situation.
Anyway, this look was inspired by a girl on Instagram (@sashamakeuup) I was super inspired by her smoky smudgy version of Pennywise the clown from the film IT and decided to recreate my own version. I forgot a red nose but honestly I quite like how it turned out!
The one picture I did take of the process was the very beginning (nice one Tyler!) I started with a fully made up face (foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer etc) and I used a cool shade of eyeshadow (a purple type colour) to deepen my contour and make it look a bit spookier. I filled in my eyebrows and brushed the hairs up with my eyebrow gel to make them look out of place and messy. I took a deep red lipliner and copied Sasha's picture to map out the design on my face. I then basically took a combination of red, brown and purple eyeshadows to smudge out the lines and create the desired look.
I left my top lids completely bare apart from smudging some black eyeliner on my lash line and waterline and making it really smokey. On my lower lash line I used the same red, brown and purple eyeshadows to smudge out the black eyeliner I had previously applied to the waterline. I extended this beyond the outer corners of my eyes as you can see above.
I applied a tonne of mascara and then some deep red and brown lipsticks combined. I also smudged some of this over the lines I had created to deepen them up and smudge them out more. I also dabbed some fake blood around my mouth and a tiny bit along the eyes but the look wouldn't look much different without this step.
I then applied dry shampoo really super close to my hair to make it look grey and here is the finished look. I'm actually really happy with how it turned out.
