Christmas Party Look

On Friday night I had the pleasure of going to my dad's office Christmas party with him. I had a posh 3 course meal in a fancy hotel and it was an excuse to get dressed up which we all love, especially this time of year. This isn't really a tutorial more of a photos and inspiration kind of post just to show you my festive party look, I hope you enjoy!

Make-up

For make-up I went with a fuller coverage base than normal and made sure to set it well with powder and used a gel contour to make my cheekbones pop. I also used a gold shade highlight to tie in my eye look. My eyebrows look really bold which I didn't realise but they look alright with this amount of make-up on!

For my eye look I went with a pale gold shimmery eye, with winged liner and a tonne of mascara. I used a lot of highlight on my inner corners and brow bone to really make them pop.

I used my trust Colourpop liquid lipstick that I mentioned in my Autumn lip colour post which lasted all evening through all of the eating and drinking.

Hair

I had my hair in dutch plaits at work all day so I simply took these out so my hair had a bit of a wave and I was planning to just leave it down like that. It looked a bit boring and lack lustre for a christmas party so I decided to put a dutch braid in the fringe section of my hair. I pulled it apart so it looked messy and pinned it just behind my ear so it fell how I wanted it to. I know I'm going to love this hair style now I know how to do it!

Outfit

This jumpsuit is the comfiest thing ever. I bought it in navy and in red from boohoo a couple of months ago (they don't have it those colours any more but they have these colours!) It is a culotte jumpsuit and is my go-to for nights when I have to dress up. I paired it with some simple black heels and voila!

I had a lovely time at the party and fell asleep in the car on the way home cradling my bottle of Ribena.
