I am well aware that winter is fast approaching so I thought I'd get this autumnal post in there quickly before we are all about the orangey red lips ready for christmas parties etc. These are my go-to lipsticks for the autumn season and I feel like I covered a good range of colours so yay me!
Firstly, let's just get out of the way that I literally have 2 swatch poses (haha!) This is the colourpop
Ultra Satin lip in the shade Alyssa which was a collab with the queen that is KathleenLights. It is the perfect nudey pink and I wear it all the time, whatever the season. It lasts a really long time too and is so comfortable to wear.
This is a more purpley-berry shade that is also from colourpop and is another collab with KathleenLights. It is one of their matte
lippie stix in the shade Lumiere. It is a lovely purpley berry shade that again wears really well and is comfortable on the lips. Can you see a theme?
This is one of my favourite MAC lipsticks ever and it is in the shade
Verve. It is a Satin finish which is a little more high maintenance than a matte finish but is more comfortable on the lips. It is a lovely brown shade that I constantly reach for at this time of year.
MAC Whirl is a deeper brown than Verve and is a matte finish that wears a little longer than Verve. It is a warm brown shade that pairs really well with a warm brown eye look.
Finally, my favourite deep red lipstick is the
Colourpop Ultra Matte lip in LAX. It is an almost black red and dries down completely matte and does. not. budge. I absolutely love this colour at this time of year.
