Skincare Things

I have a weird complex with skincare where I forget to do it all the time then I will suddenly become obsessed with it again and buy loads of new products. I'm in the sort of "I really need to get back into skincare phase" so hopefully writing about my current routine will help me get back into it.

I am loving Glossier at the minute. Ever since it game to the UK I've made two orders and love every single thing I've bought. To cleanse my face I've been using the Milky Jelly Cleanser which I've been loving. It's the only cleanser that doesn't leave my skin feeling tight afterwards but still makes it feel clean. It's a definite winner.

I follow this up with the not-so-new-now Glossier Solution which is a chemical exfoliator. It makes my skin super glowy if I use it for a prolonged amount of time and helps to get rid of all the dead skin cells on your face.

I then use the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ as a serum. I have lots of acne scars on my cheeks so with prolonged use this helps to reduce the appearance of them and doesn't clog your pores.

I'm a bit lazy with eye cream but I really need to use it because I have eczema on and around my eyes so they are always dry. This Neutrogena Hydro Boost one is doing a decent enough job at the moment!

For moisturiser I'm using the Glossier Priming Moisturiser which is a nice buildable cream that brings a lot of moisture to the skin without being sticky and gloopy. It is really lightweight and blends into the skin like a dream.

If you've read any of my previous blogs you will know I used to bang on about the Nuxe Reve De Miel lip balm alllll the time. It still is my favourite stick lip balm but now I get my nails done all the time I don't reach for the pot version because I find it too messy. The Glossier Balm Dot Com has happily taken its place as I can just squeeze it either onto my lips or onto my finger and it is way less messy. This is the mint one but I also love the original.

Let me know if there's any skincare products that I need to try right now.
