I caved and had a little splurge on Glossier, as it seems every single blogger on the planet did this also. I have had these products for a few weeks now so I've had chance to put them to the test so here are my thoughts.
Firstly, the packaging is seriously to die for. It is too cute to even handle. Also, the zip lock style pouch that it comes in is seriously cute and just satisfying to hold, which you know is a reason to place an order in itself.
So what exactly did I buy?
Stretch Concealer- Light £15
I had heard so much hype surrounding this concealer but to be honest the thought of it scared me for a while. These pot type concealers are usually pretty drying and not easy to blend but this is exactly the opposite. This product is so creamy and it blends out really easily which is great for people with dry skin. My under eyes are so dry that it is nice to have something creamy and hydrating to apply. If you have oily skin I would probably steer clear of this one. The coverage is definitely light but can be built up but if you need a heavy duty coverage concealer then this probably isn't for you. I have never really suffered with horrendous dark circles so I don't need lots of coverage but if I apply a few layers it covers the blemishes I always seem to have.
Haloscope- Quartz £28 (with boy brow)
This appealed to me as soon as I read the product description and I bought it in a duo with the next product which saves you a bit of cash. It is a cream highlighter that isn't really glittery and in your face but is perfect for an everyday sheen that I can get away with wearing to work without looking like a disco ball. They do this in a few shades but this champagne shade appealed to me most and looks lovely on my lighter skin shade.
Boy Brow- Brown £28 (with haloscope)
Benefit Gimme Brow step aside, there's a new guy in town. This is absolutely incredible. I cannot get enough of it. It is like Gimme Brow on steroids. It gives my brows so much fullness and is so pigmented that I often just wear it on its own and my brows look completely done. An amazing quickly-whack-it-on-and-run-out-the-door product.
Balm DotCom- Unscented £10
I have heard bloggers rave about this product that I had to get my hands on one. I have always been the lip balm queen and I am a true Nuxe Reve De Miel fan but this may just be my lipbalm of choice for the forseeable future. It is such a thick balm that really moisturises my lips and I really enjoy that it has no colour and scent. All the other scents and colours didn't really appeal to me so I'll definitely be sticking to this one. An amazing lip balm for the winter months.
